From KL to Kerteh

Dear Fairies & Loves!!!

I shall depart to Kerteh in less than 4 hours. But being me, the baggage are still unpacking. I should start be doing in the next half hour. Lazy is my middle name, in case you don't know. Well in some of the cases! ;p

Remember the last time I wrote about further my study? I have surveyed UiTM and OUM. Unfortunately, UiTM does not offer the course I want near to my workplace. And it's not PJJ, which means I have to get into the class. This actually not practical. Unless, I do it full time. I have reviewed the OUM course fees. It's real pricey dude. But OUM offered quite a flexible timetable (I'm actually not sure whether OUM is flexible or not but Alep told me so). I also write down contacts number for postgraduate unit at UPM & UM. Just in case any of them did offer on what I want.

As far as I'm concern, I cannot afford to travel to KL for a weekend study. Apart from money constraint, time is another thing comes into my mind. Being a student means you have to adapt to 200% changes if there is. The most challenging is class postponement and thesis making. I don't mind being in front and present all I wanted. But this thesis thingy is sooooo overrated. Is there any Uni which offers classroom without thesis? I'm willing to pay more for that!

OK. We will talk about study more after June 2010.

P/S: Am going to convert my driving license from Probation to Competent right after this. This is really a good news! Off to go! :)

Kejap lagi nak balik KL. with bus. Nasib lah decide nak naik bus. Sebab hati ini masih lagi ralat tentang seperkara itu. Lewat kebelakangan ini.

Budget & Banjir

Hari ini cuaca semakin baik di Kerteh. Hujan yang tiba-tiba menggila sejak seminggu lalu, telah mulai renyai dari malam tadi. Pagi tadi pun cuaca cerah. Nampak Mr Goat ambil angin kat luar. Exercise kot. Geng Gosip makcik seberang jalan pun dah ON macam sebelumnya. Harapnya cuaca baik ni berterusan. Untuk keringkan air bah. Super Mum cakap harung saja lah. First time merasa suasana banjir. Selalu tengok kat TV aje.

Tapi, bencana alam ni bukan pertama kalinya di Terengganu. Pelik pula bila tiada usaha mengatasi masalah ini. Sejak dari dulu. Ada sape2 tak buat kerja kah? Duduk goyang kaki makan gaji buta? Hmmm...

Sekejap tadi pun baru lepas hantar Bajet FY10/11 untuk Training Section. Pegawai Kewangan cepat je telefon, "Aida, bajet korang 4.9M ke?. Banyak tu. Kena cut sikit ni". Whatever. I don't just pluck the number.

Lega. Boleh balik awal hari ini :)

FOC Activated!

It was raining heavily on the past few days at Kerteh. Not only that, every district at Terengganu is now affected by the heavy rain and it is forecast the same weather will continues untill Wednesday. This update is very alarming since even the early days of raining, some area at Kerteh and Paka is now in flood. The recent update on weather at Kerteh has prompted the management to activate the Flood Operation Committee or what they call is FOC. It is not only refer to Free of Charge, now in Kerteh it is flood that worry us during monsoon season. And yes, I am one of the committee. Yay! I'm very much happy to swim the flood and be the hero to save people!!! ;p Nahhhhh... I'm not going to be the one anyway!

Of the bad weather now, I'm still grateful that I choose this house to rent in. As of now, my house is still in good condition. Means of no possibilities of flood coming in, InsyaAllah. Even there is here and there leaking, it is still acceptable. Still manageable. I'm very thankful :)

P/S: can't wait to be home this Raya Haji. FYI, Terengganu will be off untill Monday! Yippieee!
